ProScot Golf Tours are delighted to become a member of SIGTOA. We bring to the table our unrivaled local knowledge and expertise on Scottish golf tour packages. We are excited to work alongside other members of SIGTOA to further shape golf tourism in Scotland. It is even more an exciting time to join due to the Zero Carbon Golf Tours initiative offsetting the impact our client’s travel has on the environment.
About SIGTOA
The Scottish Inbound Golf Tour Operators’ Association was formed in 1993 at the request of both the then Scottish tourist Board and St Andrews Links Trust to bring an accepted code of conduct to the industry.
Over the years SIGTOA has evolved and has played a major role in shaping golf tourism in Scotland including being the catalyst for the creation of the country’s first ever pan industry lobbying group Golf Tourism Scotland.
The organization and its membership are still recognized by both VisitScotland and the Scottish Government as the official industry trade Association and go to body for strategic development issues. SIGTOA have a seat at a large number of golf focussed groups, and presently provide the Chair to, the Scottish Golf Development Group and various members are involved and influencing both national and regional golf groups. SIGTOA’s influence was very much to the fore during the COVID crisis in helping set up business support schemes for the industry.
Zero Carbon Golf Tours
SIGTOA remain the only group of tour operators, anywhere in the world, who mitigate all the associated carbon emissions generated by their clients when traveling around Scotland playing our world class golf courses.
SIGTOA make an annual donation to the Woodland Trust to assist them in planting native, UK and Ireland sourced and grown trees, which in time will create havens for wildlife and boost UK biodiversity. This commitment will continue into 2023 and beyond. The costs incurred in these offsets are borne by each member company and not by the client.

What a perfect vacation with 5 beautiful days of golf. Nicola was great. She ensured we were in the Old Course balloting-system and that we were also checked in for the Old Course singles daily lottery. I was fortunate to secure two opportunities to play the Old Course. Nicola went out her way many times, including traveling back to pick me up from another course to ensure I made my Old Course check in time. She also meet up with me on the 18th tee to follow me in while taking pictures of a very memorable experience. ProScotGolf provides exceptional customer service and value. I will be planning my next trip soon.

Read moreProScot organized and carried out a wonderful trip to St Andrews for my group. They provided everything we asked for and more. We stayed at The Saint, a small but very comfortable place with lovely food and a warm local Scottish atmosphere. All arrangements for golf were set up as we asked. Two of our group played the Old Course through the on site queue.
I am particularly grateful for the kind attention from Nicola Scott who facilitated our days. She was diligent in working with our friends looking to get onto the Old Course…she even made an extra round trip to Lundin Links at the last minute so one could make a last minute opportunity to play.
I highly recommend them for a quality golf trip to Scotland.

Absolutely the best! Everyone at ProScot (John, Nicola, Patricia) were exceptionally professional, friendly, and helpful.
The tour they put together for us was incredible. Our accommodations in St Andrews we’re top notch. The golf courses were fabulous. Drivers were always on time!
They made sure we had everything we needed from snacks to drinks and were willing to be flexible in terms of schedule
They setup dinner reservations at amazing restaurants, and were able to provide advice on just about anything in the area.
