Historic records show that golf has been played in St Andrews for more than 600 years, although many believe the game's origins here date back to the 12th Century. As well as being the birthplace of the game of golf, the tour of the world's most famous Links will give you an insight into the iconic landmarks and a history that is both unique and unparalleled. With the Old Course busy for play six days a week throughout the year, this tour is a great way to soak up the history of the centuries-old fairways without having to secure a coveted tee time.
Your tour will take place around the 1st, 17th and 18th holes of the Old Course where you will be able to walk in the footsteps of icons of the game and experience a player's eye view of the fabled links.
John and Nicola were perfect hosts. They took care of everything and it made our trip unforgettable. Their attention to detail is incredible and everything went smoothly. We had a guaranteed tee time for the Old Course which was the centerpiece of the trip. And they were very fun and nice people to be around. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a Scottish golf vacation.

She ensured we were in the Old Course balloting-system and that we were also checked in for the Old Course singles daily lottery. I was fortunate to secure two opportunities to play the Old Course. Nicola went out her way many times, including traveling back to pick me up from another course to ensure I made my Old Course check in time. She also meet up with me on the 18th tee to follow me in while taking pictures of a very memorable experience. ProScotGolf provides exceptional customer service and value.
