Update on the Rules of Golf 2023
The R&A and USGA announce 2023 Rules of Golf Update with an emphasis on inclusion and sustainability
The modified Rules for players with disabilities have been fully incorporated into the playing rules without the need to adopt a local rule.
The governing bodies will also promote digital and mobile app access to the Rules.
Several penalties have been relaxed and language has been clarified to help golfers at all levels of play.
A full update to the Rules of Golf App will be available for download from mid-December and will include:
The Player’s Rule Finder which will replace the Player’s Edition and the Visual Search.
A new video section will allow you to access all Rules videos in one location.
A new Quick Guide video is aimed at players who are transitioning from learner golfer to a competitive golfer.
A new Rules News section will include Rules articles and news.

What a perfect vacation with 5 beautiful days of golf. Nicola was great. She ensured we were in the Old Course balloting-system and that we were also checked in for the Old Course singles daily lottery. I was fortunate to secure two opportunities to play the Old Course. Nicola went out her way many times, including traveling back to pick me up from another course to ensure I made my Old Course check in time. She also meet up with me on the 18th tee to follow me in while taking pictures of a very memorable experience. ProScotGolf provides exceptional customer service and value. I will be planning my next trip soon.

Absolutely the best! Everyone at ProScot (John, Nicola, Patricia) were exceptionally professional, friendly, and helpful.
The tour they put together for us was incredible. Our accommodations in St Andrews we’re top notch. The golf courses were fabulous. Drivers were always on time!
They made sure we had everything we needed from snacks to drinks and were willing to be flexible in terms of schedule
They setup dinner reservations at amazing restaurants, and were able to provide advice on just about anything in the area.
